JoyAnn is the Founder and CEO of ChatterPlug Inc. In her role, JoyAnn brings extensive analytic and strategic experience. JoyAnn is responsible for the financial and strategic operational oversight of the company to ensure internal goals and milestones are met. Prior to ChatterPlug, JoyAnn owned By the Book Consulting where she brought her previous Investment Banking experience analyzing companies from the top down into the digital strategy and web analytics world. She was able to assist Fortune 500 companies such as Intel and Experian with the daunting task of assigning ROI to their digital and social online efforts and tying their web analytics back to their company-wide strategic and financial goals.

Prior to consulting, JoyAnn was an Investment Banker at Merriman Curhan Ford in New York City, focusing on IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements and M&A in the consumer industry. Before joining Merriman, she was Vice President of Equity Research at Sandler O’Neill & Partners in San Francisco before moving to Sandler’s Investment Banking Group.

Chief Technologist

Dan heads up the Product and Web Development team as Chief Technologist. He is responsible for the development and architecture of our mobile API and web application. Dan brings over 10 years of professional web development expertise and leadership to the ChatterPlug team. Dan has thrived in startup environments, found success as an independent contractor, and even co-founded modest startups of his own.

Dan is an active contributor and author of open source projects which has helped him stay in the forefront of the rapidly changing technology landscape. He speaks for the Arizona Ruby on Rails Group on the use of advanced technology from time-to-time.

Dan Beldy

Dan Beldy is the Director of Knightship. Dan recently left Steamboat Ventures where he was a Managing Director for the past 5 years. Dan has spent the last 20 years in technology and finance as an investor, entrepreneur and operator.

Prior to Steamboat, Dan was a co-founder and managing director of Plainview Capital, an innovative family of fundamental value investment funds that leverage a proprietary software platform, Plainview Analytics™. Before Plainview, Dan was an associate and partner at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners.

Focusing on early stage software investments, Dan was involved with several successful, growing companies as an investor / advisor / board member including Employease, acquired by ADP (NASDAQ: ADP), Technorati, Starmine, Method Home and Maxion Technologies.

Early in his career Dan was an officer and an F/A-18 Hornet jet instructor pilot for the U.S. Navy, completing over 275 aircraft carrier landings in tours of duty with the Atlantic Fleet.

Dan received a BS in computer science as a distinguished graduate of the US Naval Academy in 1986, and received an MBA in finance from The Wharton School in 1998.

Tim Howe

Tim has been an active venture investor since 1984 and has been responsible for numerous investments in a wide range of industries including healthcare, biotechnology, insurance, industrial products, and internet marketing services. He has served as a director of many companies, including Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALXN), RxCentric, Inc. (acquired by Allscripts (Nasdaq: MDRX)), Innotech, Inc. (acquired by Johnson & Johnson, (JNJ)), Camitro Corporation (acquired by ArQule, Inc. (ARQL)), Revivant, Inc. (Acquired by Zoll Medical (ZOLL)), and Medicus Insurance Company (acquired by NORCAL Mutual Insurance Company).

Prior to founding Collinson Howe Venture Partners, now CHL Medical Partners, in 1990, currently managing million in committed capital, Tim was a partner at Schroder Ventures managing multiple venture capital and private equity funds in the United States.

Tim is a graduate of Columbia College and the Columbia Graduate School of Business where he has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor teaching venture capital management since 1995.

Peter Lasusa

Peter Lasusa founded ML-Resources in 1998 to invest in and provide management consulting and business development advisory services to entrepreneurs, early stage venture capital and middle market private equity buyouts.

Prior to forming ML-Resources Peter spent seven years as corporate general counsel and a principal engaged in smaller private company acquisitions in the manufacturing, sales and marketing, and product distribution sectors. He began his career practicing general corporate law in New York City.

Peter is an early investor in The Gerson Lehrman Group (www.glgroup.com) and Majestic Research (www.majesticresearch.com), each of which went on to become leaders in providing specialized “expert” independent investment research and consulting products to global institutional investors. His current portfolio includes holdings in now publicly traded BazaarVoice (www.bazaarvoice.com) and NetSpend (www.netspend.com), along with early stage investments in DataMinr (www.dataminr.com), Axial Markets (www.axialmarkets.com) and ProspX (www.prospx.com).

He currently serves as the Board Chair of the United States Squash Racquets Association.

Peter earned a BA from Columbia College in 1979, a JD from George Washington University in 1982, and an executive program MBA from Columbia University in 1990. He resides in New York City with his wife and two children.

Jim Marver
Co-founder & Managing Partner, Vantage Point Venture Partners

Jim co-founded VantagePoint, a venture capital firm with .5 billion in committed capital, in 1996 and is experienced in every element of venture fund management. Over the past three decades, Jim has worked closely with hundreds of public and private companies on all aspects of their operations, especially strategy and finance.  He has run global technology practices at leading investment banks and has served as a senior consultant at SRI International (formerly Stanford Research Institute).  In addition to serving on the boards of several private companies, he is Chairman of the Board of Advisors, Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley, a member of the Board of Directors of The National Venture Capital Association (NVCA), Vice Chairman and a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of San Francisco Ballet, President of the San Francisco Ballet Endowment Foundation, and a Commissioner of The Asian Art Museum.

Jim attended Williams College (BA) and the University of California at Berkeley (PhD). He has lectured and written extensively on financing entrepreneurial companies, R&D, IPOs and public policy. He has also served as a consultant to the National Academy of Sciences/National Research Council.

Guy Winch
Psychology Phd., Customer Relations Author

Guy Winch, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist, a speaker and the author of The Squeaky Wheel: Complaining the Right Way to Get Results, Improve Your Relationships and Enhance Self-Esteem (January 2011 by Walker & Company). He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from New York University in 1991 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in family and couples therapy at NYU Medical Center. He has been working with individuals, couples and families in his private practice in Manhattan, since 1992.

He is a member of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Winch also writes the popular Squeaky Wheel Blog on Psychologytoday.com.
